Conditions of Play

Entrants in the 109th Trans-Mississippi Championship must have attained the age of 19 years or older on or before July 10, 2012, have a USGA Handicap Index (or equivalent) not exceeding 2.0 and be a member of Trans-Mississippi Golf Association member club (membership requirement is waived for those entrants receiving a special invitation from the Committee).  Entrants younger than 19 years as of July 10, 2012, may participate in the championship if duly invited by the Committee.  The championship will be individual stroke play contested over 72-holes.  The Committee may shorten the competition in the event of inclement weather.  A sudden-death play-off will be conducted in the event of a tie.  All contestants must walk during all stipulated rounds (carts may be used in the practice round only).  Caddies are permitted at the player’s expense.  The tournament field is limited to 156 players.  There will be a cut to the low 60 scores and ties following 36 holes.  Players advancing to the final round will play 36 holes on the final day.
